Last week was holy week ,this is important in the Catholic church because it commemorates Jesus last days and crucifixion. Holy Week leads up to the celebration of Easter Sunday the day Christians celebrate Jesus rising from the dead.I learnt that good Friday is important because Jesus Christ underwent suffering and died for the forgiveness of their sins. 

These weeks we did for Holy week we have to do a Google drawing on  Palm Sunday, Holy Thursday, Good Friday, Easter Saturday, and Easter Sunday.

After we did that we had to do one of the Holy week creates which where Interview the crowd during the Good Friday journey, Make a poster explaining the Stations of the  Cross, Make a book/graphic novel about the events of Holy Week, Re-enact one of the Resurrection Eggs (Tumu), An artwork to explain an important event during Holy Week, Make a digital pick-a-path explaining the resurrection eggs, Create a Booklet or Kahoot, Stations of cross – Minecraft version, Board Game, Scratch Game about Holy Week, Animation of Holy Week, or News Report about the events of the Holy Week

This week in writing we have been writing a biography about someone that has made an impact and we could chose anyone and i picked Jeremy wade he put and impact on inspiring young angerlers and explorer. Jeremy Wade has spent nearly 40 years travelling to the world’s remote rivers since first setting out in 1982. He has been arrested for spying in southeast Asia  caught cerebral malaria in the Congo and survived a plane crash in the Amazon.

This week i have made a fake snap chat post about pope Francis. In this fake account Pope Francis was snapping Lewis. Lewis wanted Pope Francis to share a nice quote with him about something he could live by. The quote he gave was “A little bit of mercy gives the world less cold and more just kind”.

This week in reading we have been learning about changing lives they help people with paralyzed legs. They have created an electric wheelchair called the omeo. So exactly how does it work the Omeo changes the accepted thinking behind personal transportation with its patented Active Seat Steering system. This allows the user to control forward, reverse braking and steering with their torso  hands free. The torso acts as a joystick engaging often unused core muscles. 

So i have made something that can attach to your wheelchair so you can go fishing it has a built in tacle baox and rod holder.

This week in writing we have been writing about how to make a jam sandwich and what materials you will need to make a jam sandwich. I would love to learn more about how to make peanut butter and jam sandwiches. 

this is my way to make a jam sandwich.

1.Grab your 2 pieces of bread and put them on the plate.
2.Put your knife in the butter then spread it on the two pieces of bread.
3.Put your knife in the jam then spread it on the two pieces of bread.
4.Then connect the two pieces of bread jam to jam then you use your knife to cut your bread in half.

these are the materials you will need.

Jam,butter,bread,knife,plate

2 pieces of bread, teaspoon of jam.

This week in reading we have been reading about the tallest buildings and tall structures. Do you know that the tallest building is 2717 ft tall it is placed in Dubai. The two structures I read about were called burj khalifa and KVLY-TV mast. Do you know that KVLY-TV mast collapsed in 1991.

My reading goal was to make connections between texts, identify some text events and features, and discuss what they make the reader think about.

For my create we had to make the Features of Structures of burj khalifa and KVLY-TV. also we had to design our own tallest building this is what i have created.

This week we have been working on a task board the one i have been working on is the haka. I have learnt so much new stuff about the haka do you know that they first preformed it in was 1888-89 it was preformed by the New Zealand representative rugby team, known as The Natives, performed a haka during a tour of Britain and Australia in 1888-89.
